The college admission process can be extremely daunting. From ACTs and SATs to supplemental essays to college interviews the entire process is long and arduous. With over 65% of students graduating from high school attending college the competition is more intense than ever. This is why it’s important to be smart and start early.
Overall, trust yourself. These are supposed to be the best years of your life. Do not waste them. Colleges are not looking for well-rounded students with superficial involvement in everything they do. They want students that focus and excel in one or two areas and have long-term involvement. Grades and test scores are important as well, put the time and effort in. Colleges want to know how you will fit into their school and how you will excel. Use you application to show them.
